The octagonal table is a good table for all round dining. Edward Heath had one of these tables, deciding on it because he could converse with all present and was not just restricted to those each side of him. The legs are removable and the table can easily be over wintered inside if required.
The extended (elongated) octagonal table is based on the Octagonal table, but the table top is extended in to allow two opposite sides of the table to seat four or six people making an 'oval' octagonal table. The two extended sides can accommodate a bench seat while the other six sides (three at each end) would have chairs.

The octagonal tables come with a Hadham bracket. For an extra cost, this can be changed to an Indian Lattice bracket.
